About Healing Energy and Sound
Mission
I created Healing Energy and Sound with the mission to create safety and peace through my Reiki and sound healing practice. My intention is to create safety and a deeper sense of peace with my clients, and offer the care that many lack in our community today. I aim to help every client achieve physical, emotional, and spiritual balance.
What is Reiki and how does it work?
You may have heard the following names; Reiki, Prana, universal life force energy, qi. However, this is one energy by many names. Reiki is a holistic healing practice that focuses on channeling universal life force energy to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Reiki originated in Japan, however, communities around the world have been channeling the life force energy that flows between all beings and things for centuries. While clients are seated in a chair with feet planted firmly on the ground, practitioners use a gentle touch facilitating the flow of energy to release blockages, align the chakras and encourage deep healing, in a truly relaxing experience. By tapping into this energy, Reiki helps to balance the body’s natural rhythms, enhance self-healing capabilities, and foster a deep sense of calm. The practice is rooted in the knowing that when the body’s energy is aligned and flowing freely, it leads to improved health, reduced stress, and a greater sense of harmony within oneself and with the environment. Clients receive the benefits of the energy flowing in the session as well as integration for several days afterwards.
Reiki is accessible to anyone and can be integrated into traditional medical treatments or used as a standalone therapy.
About me
My name is Georgia and I am a certified Reiki practitioner and sound healer. I have always been especially attuned to energies and the rhythmic powers of music. I have been practicing Reiki on myself and others for several years and have found combining this with sound healing is a truly beautiful experience. I am awed at how energy and sound can move us and change us and I adore the restorative, meditative, and healing qualities of Reiki and sound healing.
For many people, the modern Western medicinal model doesn't work holistically and talk therapy doesn't go deep enough into how we feel in our bodies and energy fields. This was my experience and why I am so dedicated to offering this healing to others, to allow the body to heal itself. I created Healing Energy and Sound because I am passionate about helping others discover their best and most authentic selves, by connecting with their mind, spirit, and body.
